Ashbourne Town Centre, Ashbourne, Co. Meath  (2000/2004)

This scheme, located just off the M50 in one of Ireland’s fastest growing commuter towns, created a new town centre and a retail street on a site of about 25 acres.

The scheme is accessed off the town’s main street. Michael Heather acquired the land for the development company and then secured Tesco as the anchor for the development. The new town centre area also included Lidl and McDonalds, over 400 residential units and a new County Hall for Meath County Council.
